FROM VT -

a good nine months, I am back in Blacksburg, my home-away-from-home. I spent
the last two days trying to get back to the graduate student's way of life.
Nine months can change you quite a bit. I didn't think it would, but it did!
First I was locked out of my department building because I had forgotten
the door pass code. Once inside, I discovered that I had forgotten the
password to my account in my research group. All signs of what the
"real" world can do to you!! I think I have everything under
control now. Things should be smooth from here on.
hasn't changed much. The weather is still very unpredictable. It had been
raining heavily the whole of last week. It was cloudy and gloomy throughout.
Fortunately the sun was back out today. As a result, there was some activity
on the Drillfield, and I managed to click this picture. The campus is
totally deserted during the summer. You hardly get to see people. And bad
weather only makes things worse.
