late last night. It's an OK movie worth a one-time watch. The plot was
splendid. But the crispness in the screenplay and narration, faded away
towards the end. IMHO, it would have come out much better had it lost the last
thirty minutes of the story.
Hanks did a pretty good job of sounding "Krakosian". He actually
did way (way) better than Sean Connery's Krasnaya
Oktyaber fiasco. He started his sentences with actual Russian
words and phrases, but soon segued into Russian sounding gibberish.
there was the Indian (dotted, not feathered) character ... "Gupta
Rajan", who supposedly had a tobacco shop in Madras! Clearly, the
research team could have come up with something more palatable.
