Receiving THE GROOM'S PARTY - The groom's party is received as they arrive at the wedding hall. This reception used to occur at the boundary of the bride's village, but nowadays happens at the party's entry in to the wedding hall. Flowers, coconuts and bananas are offered and a Nadaswaram troupe plays as all this happens. |
